Robert Norman in Brookshire, TX has a collection of antique wooden planes that he's willing to lend to people for up to 90 days.

Types include Skew Rabbet, Horned Smoother, Coffin Smoother, Moving Fillester, Quirked Ogee, Side Bead, Cove, and various hollows and rounds.

If you're interested in trying out a particular plane type before making an investment in one, or you need a particular type for a one-off job and don't want to purchase one, this might be an option worth looking into.
