Williamsburg Conference 2014

You are reading the forum of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers — people who build and study American period furniture.

Membership brings the whole forum, the annual journal and quarterly magazine, the members’ gallery and workbench, and chapters across the country. About membership

Registration has apparently opened for these sessions January 19-22 and 23-26, 2014.  For which session will SAPFM activities be aligned?

I looked at Williamsburgh's website but do not see if the registration is open or if the brochure is availible for download??

Previous attendees received notices from Williamsburg directly. They were targeted in that the link given included your previous personal information. These are sent out by Colonial Williamsburg and have nothing to do with SAPFM.
Not sure when open enrollment begins, but it should be soon.

They are indeed open for registration, if you go to colonial Williamsburg site, click on museums that will bring up conferences and workshops.

If I want to attend only the SAPFM meetings will I have pay the entire conference fee? And how long is the annual meeting? All day or a few hours before the dinner? Thanks

First of all, registration for the banquet is open.  See front page of www.sapfm.org

Our annual meeting will be at 2PM at the Dewitt Wallace auditorium on Thurs, the first day of the Williamsburg event.

You do not have to register or attend the Williamsburg sponsored Wood Working event to attend the SAPFM meeting or the SAPFM cartouche award banquet on Friday night.

If you want to attend the banquet, you do have to register for that.

Hope this helps,

Ken Johnson

If this discussion was useful, there are twenty years of them here. Join SAPFM to take part — the forum, the journal, the magazine and the members’ gallery come with membership.
