This is a question not limited to machine or hand, but what might be your favorite tool. This is not meant as what tool is better than another but what you like the most. Mine is a long 1" flat 14" bench chisel. Wait, I love my spoke shave, but I would not trade my bandsaw for another.

My favorite tool is my guzinda machine. Wood guzinda machine and furniture comes out.

My favorite tool is an antique wood stretcher. Haven't used it much in the last few years and thinking of selling it along with a few other items. If anyone's interested, I throw in the Brooklyn Bridge for free.

Oh, wow, a wood stretcher!  I could use one of those.  You know the old, "I cut it twice and it's still too short." thing.

I have a bottle opener in my shop too but don't use it to open my favorite beverages due to risk of bad judgement around spinning things.  So that can't be my favorite tool.  I will go with a rather mundane answer...LN 4.5.  It seems like an extension of my hand and always seems to do what I want it to do.  I only wish I was in the market when the Bronze ones were available.

I am still trying to locate a slightly used sky hook. My best price would be $12.
Bottle opener might be a tool for deeper thought (or not) and design.

I have tried to get Mr Peabody and his boy Sherman to offer a class on the wayback machine but to no avail. If all else fails I am still trying to get Bullwinkle to talk about his worm hearding staff.
