For those interested in techniques of hand-tool work and cabinet making, Lee Richmond at www.thebesthings.com has an original set of all 8 of The Modern Carpenter And Joiner And Cabinet Maker published in London in 1902 for $385 (Look under "Vintage Tools>Miscellaneous Tools, about 5 or 6 items down the page).  They are in superb shape for a set of books that are 105 years old.

Unfortunately my pursuit of artificially-rare books on Southern Furniture (anyone got a copy of The Furniture of Coastal North Carolina they want to sell?) limits my budget so I won't be purchasing these, but I thought someone else on the forum would be very interested.

BTW - other than being a regular customer of his, I've no financial interest in Lee's business.
