I have found a source for thick dyed veneers, B&B Rare Woods (http://www.dyed-veneer.com/dyed-veneers---thick.aspx) They have most colors that furniture makers would need including thick black Dyed Anigre and white dyed Swiss Sycamore. Good substitutes for Ebony and Holly when making bandings, line inlay, and pateraes. I have ordered a sample pack and will post later on quality.

I have purchased from them several times. Color and thickness have been consistent so far. I also like the  sizes offered.
