If you're especially knowledgeable or skilled in one of the areas and would be willing to teach the group, please let me know.

Hello I am graduate of The Furniture Institute of Mass and my concentration is banding and inlays.  I would love to demostrate banding making.    I have taught and demostrated on thsi subject several times.  So if your interested then my email is freddyroman6@hotmail.com or have any questions please feel free.

Thanks,

Freddy Roman

Hey Freddy,

It just so happens that I am about ready to jump into banding and inlay for the first time. Since I have not made my first cut yet, I do not have any questions on the process, but I have much confusion on supply. Holly seems to be the first roadblock. Is it better to buy veneer or saw my own? Do you know a good source of either? Are there any good substitute woods that grow in my area? (south-central Mo.)

                                      Thank you for your time,

                                                        Jim
