The Society of American Period Furniture Makers Rock River Valley Chapter
After working on the tour of the Chipstone Collection at the Milwaukee Art Museum for some time the pieces were not falling into place. It has become necessary to cancel the tour and hold our fall meeting at my workshop on Saturday, September 22, 2012.
I?ll provide a hamburger and hot dog lunch and I?ll try to talk my wife into making cookies.
There is a need for show and tell items and presentations in the afternoon. Hammer veneering, a historical discussion on moldings, and a molding plane demo are several of the topics that members have expressed an interest in. If anyone is willing to give a talk on these or any other subjects, please let me know. Please let me know if you are planning to attend.

9:30 am -10:00 am - sign in
10:00 am -10:30 am - the rest of the story/business meeting
10:30 am - 12 noon - show and tell
12:00 - 1 pm - Lunch
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm mid-year conference review
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm presentations
