May Meeting Trip Report

You are reading the forum of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers — people who build and study American period furniture.

Membership brings the whole forum, the annual journal and quarterly magazine, the members’ gallery and workbench, and chapters across the country. About membership

Steve,

Wonderful coverage of the New England Chapter meeting at Phil Lowe's with Peter Follansbee. I also want to thank Freddy and Phil for making this possible. Great job everyone! It was a good turnout of members and I'm sure everyone went home with a better appreciation of building early 17th century furniture. Peter is truly a master at what he does.

Thanks, Mickey!

By the way, if anyone had trouble linking to the post, Blogger had apparently had a problem today and reverted it to a previous version (possibly along with the entire blog) that hadn't yet been published. I've restored the post from a copy I had left open in my browser and reapplied a few later edits.

Lesson learned: always backup your blog after posting to it!
