I hope someone can provide some assistance in helping me find - actually relocate - an article about a marking gauge that appeared in one of the mainstream woodworking magazines  (like Am Woodworking, Wood, Popular Woodworking, etc.) within the past six months or so.  Sorry I cannot be more specific about the time.

The article I am looking for is one that provides a measured drawing and other drawings and details for making a marking gauge in the style of those found in the Benjamin Seaton tool chest.  I would like the name of the magazine and date or number.  I likely still have the magazine but no idea of where I might find the article.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that was a Dec. 2006 Popular Woodworking article by Minnesota Chapter member Dean Jansa in the arts and mysteries section.

Mike,

Thanks for your assistance. I have Popular Woodworking, December 2006 and the article in hand.  Please thank Dean for this fine piece.
