Lone Star Chapter will hold its winter meeting at Bayou Bend Museum on February 20, 2012.  The meeting will be held in conjunction with Brock Jobe's visit to Bayou Bend where he will talk about several of Bayou Bend's card tables.  A special tour of Miss Ima's house will also be provided to see many of the special pieces "inside out and upside down".  Tours of the museum library and its historic books will also be available.  Contact Jim Thompson at jthompson1950@comcast.net .
 
This was a great afternoon of events.  After the Brock Jobe talk, a few of us asked for more information on the Phyfe card table, in particular, the trick leg mechanism.
