The MET has an electronic copy of the book associated with the 2005 exhibit of John Townsend work.

You can download it as a PDF, view it on line, or print on demand.

They have other books including the American Furniture in The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Vol. I, and Early Colonial Period: The Seventeenth-Century and William and Mary Styles
