Thank you for posting this link, it brings back fond memories. When I was a student in London I spent a lot of time at the V&A. Yes, you can spend a day on the website but can you imagine the days you could spend in person? And that is just looking at the furniture, they have huge collections of other decorative arts. I also have to say, somewhat apologetically, that I was amused by the entry for the "Cinderella Table". It is a conservation report. I am sure if enough SAPFM members read it we could get quite a lively discussion going on the topics of: What is art? What is furniture? What constitutes good craftsmanship? Etc., Etc. PSP
