I am pleased to announce that the Great Lakes Chapter (and all other interested members) will be returning to the world-renowned Detroit Institute of Arts the weekend of April 10-11, 2027. There are no specifics as of yet aside from the dates, but we will certainly be displaying member pieces as well as performing demonstrations (hand tools only). This is a great outreach opportunity that exposed SAPFM to over 800 people at the last event in October 2025, and we urge everyone within reasonable distance to consider participating. The dates fit nicely between Easter (March 28) and the GLC Spring meeting on April 24, so please mark your calendars now.

This will be an agenda item for our Fall meeting on November 7.
