I make American Windsor chairs. I Have been researching English Windsors. Does anyone know where one could get a close look at examples of English Windsors, in particular, the Gothic style? I am interested in getting close enough to look at contruction techniques and getting some measurements so I could do a reproduction.

I'm unaware of any collections of English Windsors in this country, although I'm sure there are some out there. If you don't already have this book, it may prove useful since it shows disassembled chairs. http://www.thebestthings.com/books/engregchair.htm
