This is a Chippendale stool I just finished.  Some of you have helped me by answering a few questions that came up - thanks!  I completed the first leg in a class (Ball & Claw Carving)  at Phil Lowe's school in Beverly, MA a few years ago.  I'm ashamed to say it sat on a shelf for several years.  Anyway, it's done and I made a lot of mistakes and my lack of experience shows, but for a weekend hacker, I'm pleased.  Phil's class and video was a big help.
