Agenda:
  • Crow and Show AKA Show and Tell. Bring slides, partial or completed projects. Big or small, old or new. A few spice chests maybe?? We will have a "spice off". Show and tell is valuable time. Please participate.
  • Harry Bishop, Chapter Member, is going to do a "deep dive" on a chest on chest he built and wrote about in the American Period Furniture Journal annual in 2021.
  • Dave Heller, featured speaker, is going to demo and teach about marquetry. If you didn't to get to go to the midyear where Dave spoke this past weekend, this is your chance to still get a taste of his talent!
Parking Lot Market: There were requests for the spring meeting to do sales of tools, lumber, books, etc but the venue did not fit. BUT... this meeting is very conducive for such tailgate sales etc. If you are interested in buying/selling, arrive by 0830. There will be time at lunch too for such things. Dennis Orr will be bringing some osage orange for sale. I"ll have a few books too at fire sale prices. All such business will be conducted outside, not inside the store.

Food: We will take time out for lunch; but it is NOT provided There are a couple eateries walkable and numerous ones within 5 minutes drive, but most are fast food.

Cost: Dependent on RSVPs. Final cost to be provided in the reminder immediately before the meeting. This covers coffee and the per diem for our guest speaker.

Chair: Bring a folding chair.
