Hello Folks,

I am hopeful to attend Fine Woodworking event at Colonial Williamsburg and was curious to know if anyone could recommend a hotel that some of you have used.  I am also looking for something reasonable.

Thanks,

Fred

Last time I was in Williamsburg, I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Bypass Road. Just a couple minutes from the Historic Area. Clean, reasonably priced and a great location. I'll probably stay there the next time I go to the area.

I have stayed at Marriott and Hilton properties (Hampton Inn, etc) on the bypass road.  All are good.  The Hampton Inns I stay at on business travel across the country are almost always top notch for a resonable price.  You might pay an extra $20 a night, but you will have a updated room with a comfortable bed.

I don't have any financial connnection with any of these.

This is within walking distance and is very reasonably priced.
