It may sound repetitive but our society publication continues to set a standard that is unsurpassed for the cost of membership.  It is again an outstanding publication.  Thanks to Mark and Margret for a great publication effort and to all the contributors who make the content exceptional.

Great to have such a resource.

I already picked up one good idea about curved inlay banding that had been stumping me for months, a new book to buy on federal styles in the ads and how to make cold or warm temp hide glue, and I only skimmed it so far! I also liked the part where the guy will smash your drawer if it doesn't slide as well upside down as right side up and make you come in and rebuild it on your own time!  What a fellow.  If it was me he would have had to back up facing me when he left the room!

Congratulations to all involved in the Journal.  Mark and Margaret, you guys are amazing.  What an issue; and to think that the first issue was printed at a Kinkos the night before the banquet.

Seconded and thirded.  Outstanding effort and product, especially for the membership price.  M&M: thanks for all your efforts, it's plain to see that you put a lot of effort into this.  Folks like you are what make the world tick.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing...figured I would wait a week or so before calling Mark.

Hear! Hear!

It's here, it's here!

The journal just arrived in the mail today. Another great job. I'm just about to dig in to the shell carving article first.

Thanks to all who make this possible.

I agree that the Journal is really good this year.  My compliments to the editors and the contributors for thier efforts.

For those who are waiting for yours, check with your post office.  The USPS are not required to deliver books/magazines immediately.  My wife retired from the USPS and she has told me horror stories.  Depending on who brings you your mail, a book can sit in the back room at the post office for weeks.

Sometimes you can go to the counter and if you ask nicely, they will give it to you.  I usually bring them donuts!

I am still waiting for my copy as well. Perhaps I will take the suggestion and head to the post office with pastries in hand.

I  still have not received the journal. I checked with the post office, and they did not see it. I only joined this year so I was wondering if you have to be in a full year before, and the journal comes the following year of your membership.

still haven't received my copy; who do I email about this?

thanks
