Hello folks,

I'm working on Chippendale breakfront bookcase in walnut.  It will have glazed doors with the common 13 pane design.  I'm considering whether to make the shelves in the upper case adjustable or not.  I like the clean appearance of fixed shelvs (I can align them to look nice with the pattern on the doors), but think that adjustable shelves may be more practical.  Other than making lots of extra dados with loose shelves, what are some other good ajustable shelf designs?  I generally think that the more modern shelf pins would not look appropriate.  Does anybody know where I could see some close up photos of adjustable shelves?
Thanks for your thoughts!

Paul
